| The Xeon® X5405 2.00 GHz Quad Core Second Processor from Dell⢠is a server/workstation processor utilizing four 45-nm Hi-k Core⢠micro-architecture core. It features on-die, primary 32 KB instruction cache and 32 KB write-back data cache in each core and 12 MB (2 x 6 MB) Level 2 cache with Advanced Smart Cache Architecture. It also supports Intel® Virtualization Technology for hardware-assisted virtualization within the processor. The X5405 incorporates Thermal Monitor 2 (TM2) technology that helps reduce the power consumption within the processor. This product has been tested and validated on Dell systems and is compatible with Dell Precision⢠WorkStation T7400. This processor is supported by Dell Technical Support when used with a Dell system. |
